Building and supporting vital, growing and sustainable local ministry and mission is of highest priority.
This can involve reconfiguring parishes and congregations. Reconfiguration options include ministry regionalizations, amalgamations and mergers, and church closures.
Congregational Development and Mission staff and volunteers work with parishes to facilitate discussions and help implement decisions.
Regional ministry
Regional ministry invites us to work together in imaginative and creative ways to share the goodness of God’s reign with each other and our local communities. It’s a partnership between churches, where clergy and laity work as teams to address the ministry needs of the whole area.
Parishes that have different programs and strengths can share and participate in each other’s ministries and find creative, imaginative and sustainable ways to engage with their local communities. What could this look like in your context?
